Entrance to the Café and gift shop is free for everyone and there is free parking on site.

Entrance to the Parc is through the gift shop where you can either buy or show prepaid tickets.

All tropical houses operate on a one way system and you can go around as many times as you like.

Directly to your right as you leave the gift shop you will find Kirby House where you will find four different visitor displays, including an introduction to invertebrates.

Follow the path behind the Café and you will come to Hinton House which houses seven displays including the shell museum and the spider/tarantula rooms. Please note that for arachnaphobes and for those not so keen, the spider houses can easily be bypassed to exit the building.

The exit to this house comes out by the entrance to the building we use for the invertebrate handling sessions. It is important to note that handling sessions are best booked in advance as places may not be available on the day of your visit.

For the final visitor centre housing invertebrates, follow the path back to the Café, turn left, then left again to Comstock House which houses four more invertebrate rooms including our fabulous leaf cutting ants.

You should allow at least two hours or more to view the visitor displays and enjoy a handling experience, plus extra time to let the children burn off some energy enjoying the children’s play area, and of course, time to enjoy a bite to eat in our fabulous Café or to enjoy some retail therapy in our well-stocked gift shop or to simply sit and relax in the picnic areas with an ice cream.
