BugzUK Ltd (t/a The Bug Parc) has supplied invertebrates and wrangling services for many TV and film productions and still photo shoots.
In addition to the wide variety of species on display at The Bug Parc and hatching in our breeding colonies, we can source a great many other invertebrate species from our many contacts here in the UK and abroad.
Production companies who buy invertebrates would have to keep them after filming or meet the cost of rehoming them. A more feasible alternative is to use our invertebrate rental service! We can supply invertebrate livestock for a few hours or days whilst needed for filming and accept them back after filming has been completed. We can supply all cages and accessories that the animals require on set, together with complete care instructions.

Invertebrate wrangling requires a high degree of understanding of the behaviour of invertebrates to ensure that the perfect shot or film can be captured under the clinical conditions of a film set or photography studio.
Our understanding of the behaviour of invertebrates and the requirements and constraints of filming will help you to achieve the best results possible without harming the animals. Our 5 acre Bug Parc site is dedicated to the breeding and display of invertebrates. Many production companies have already filmed at the Parc as we have a vast array of different minibeasts on-site, wildlife ponds and wooded walks as well as an on-site café.
With over 200 animal species on show and many more in our breeding sheds, we have a vast collection of invertebrates available for filming.
